Basic Wagtail setup

Wagtail is the cms system chosen for the new websites. By default the cms is completely empty. This page wil show some basic setup.

Add a simple home page

Open the cms by going to localhost:8000 Login with the email and password used when setting up the website localy Go to pages and click the litte house icon You wil now see the root dir of wagtail. Each page you will make here can become its own website. Create a new page here of the type Home page Fill in the required fields

Set the just created page as the home page for the default website

Go to settings > sites Open the default localhost website Click the three dots beside the Root page option Here click Choose another page and select the page you created above.

Add more pages to fill the menu

You can now create more pages. Each page you will publish wil automatically be added to the menubar. You can now freely create pages ass children of the home page.
